Dear Daniela,

These are my best friends.  You may know them as "the cheetahs."

But today, I want to talk about one of them in particular:
Dani Marie Stolworthy... she is a babe, as you can tell.

I mean, you could say we're like... pretty good friends.

We've traveled the world together.

We freaking roughed it in a third-world country.
If that's not true friendship,  I don't know what is.

But the point of this post, is not to tell you all how much I love Dani (although I am quite fond of her).  Rather, it is to publicly announce that I am OK with her having a boyfriend.  Let me redeem myself, I would LOVE for Dani Deej to have a love interest.  It's just... okay, fine... I'll just get out with it: I don't want her to get married!

Yeah, fine.  I said it.

But really people.  Life has thrown a lot of curve balls at me lately and so that would just be the last straw.  So, yes.  Maybe I am a little hesitant to set her up on dates, but I will let love run its course.  Dani, your top five will be coming to you quite soon -- but please promise me you will wait longer than 3 months before engagement.

Dear Grades,

Minus you, Physical Science 110A.... I really liked you guys this semester.  In fact, I was so pleased by the news you brought... I jumped up and down, ran to the family room, and announced my improved GPA to the whole entire fam.  So thanks.  You really know how to win this girls' heart over.

Professors... you're not too bad yourselves (once again... minus you Prof. Clark.  Thanks for nothing).

Yours truly,
A Satisfied College Student

Dear Professors,

Could you please post grades NOW before my dreams continue to be haunted?!

No really, though.

For the past THREE nights I have tossed and turned with awful dreams about bad grades.  Without fail, each morning (or practically afternoon...because let's be real, I do NOT wake up early during break) I spring to the computer to see if grades have been posted yet.  Last year they posted them like 5 days early.  Yes I can see my New Testament grade, but I already knew that one... I already discovered a long time ago that I should've just MAJORED in religion for heavens sake.  Now really.  If you could just post my REAL classes grades, I would be forever grateful so that these dreams of being kicked out of my AP English class in HIGH SCHOOL (why am I having dreams about high school?!?!), flunking out of college, and applying 7 times to the El Ed. program would just STOP.

Yours truly,
A seriously PARANOID college student

Dear Day after Christmas Deals,

Yes, Yes, & Yes!!!  FINALLY!
For those of you who know me all too well, I have been dying to get a new camera.  I got a camera last Christmas and I won't go into details, so let's just say I absolutely hate it.  Well, after some deal browsing on the internet, I found her:

She is beautiful and I am obsessed.  Especially since I got her for $70 off.

This is Aust and I at Best Buy.  Since some jerk stole Austin's camera out of his bag last week at the airport, we were on a mission to get the two of us new cameras.  We came, we saw, I conquered.  Austin was not impressed.

After dinner with the fam, and me taking pictures of everything in my sight... Austin started to realize my divine picking ability in cameras and realized he too wanted to partake of the goodness.  So we made stop #2 to Best Buy to purchase him the same camera.

When we got home, Austin went to open his camera up... only to find Samantha had given us the wrong camera!  Shucks.  So, Aust and I got back into the car for stop #3 to exchange the wrong for the right.

3 Stops to Best Buy = 2 Canon Cameras

Dear Reason for the Season,

"We solemnly testify that His life, which is central to all human history, neither began in Bethlehem nor concluded on Calvary.  He is the Firstborn of the Father, the Only Begotten Son in the flesh, the Redeemer of the World.

'I am the first and the last; I am he who liveth, I am he who was slain; I am your advocate with the Father (D&C 110:3-4).'

We testify that He will someday return to earth.  'And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together (Isaiah 40:5).'  He will rule as King of Kings and reign as Lord of Lords, and every knee shall bend and every tongue shall speak in worship before Him.  Each of us will stand to be judged of Him according to our works and the desires of our hearts.

We bear testimony, as His duly ordained Apostles - that Jesus is the Living Christ, the immortal Son of God.  He is the great King Immanuel, who stands today on the right hand of His Father.  He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world.  His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come.  God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son."

-The Living Christ

Merry Christmas to all.

"We know not what lies ahead of us.  We know not what the coming days will bring.  We live in a world of uncertainty.  For some, there will be great accomplishment.  For others, disappointment.  For some, much of rejoicing and gladness, good health, and gracious living.  For others, perhaps sickness and a measure of sorrow.  We do not know.  But one thing we do know.  Like the polar star in the heavens, regardless of what the future holds, there stands the Redeemer of the world, the Son of God, certain and sure as the anchor of our immortal lives.  He is the rock of our salvation, our strength, our comfort, the very focus of our faith."

Dear Girl with the Moves,

Oh my lanty!  This is hysterical.  I would've embedded the code on to my blog but she has disabled that on her youtube account.  SO, it's up to you to make the first move.  If you enjoy laughter, rockin' dance moves, or maybe just a little inspiration... this is the video for you.

I think I have watched about 80% of her videos.  My personal favorites are Disturbia & T-shirt.  This girl has talent that cannot be denied.  I need to find some way to contact her so she can teach me her ways.

With her help,  I will totally have guys knocking on my door begging to take me on dates.

Dear Memories,

I'm home.  It's 2:30 am.  I'm rummaging through old photos on the computer, and I came across these.  Absolutely hilarious.

Me in my prime, ladies & gents.

Kait and I at Camp Michindoh as counselors.

We thought it would be really fun to make pizza one night... looks cute, but didn't taste too great.

Cheerleading Sophomore year

Junior year I believe?

Senior year after we won the rival game for football.

After cheer camp... we kind of raided the book store.

Hawaii -- Senior Spring Break

Cute little Gracie!

Dear Lately,

I have been seriously neglecting my blog.

In fact, the last time I posted I was getting ready to come home for Thanksgiving break.
I am now back in Buckeye Country for Christmas & since I took roughly a four hour nap and can not fall asleep, AND I miss my amazing friends in Provo so much, I decided I would post a couple pictures of life lately.

Me, Nat, Al Pal, Sara Rae, and Dani... my friends are babes.

My very best friends :) (Maego's Farewell... we miss you Sister Olsen!)

At Spark for some tasty mocktails with the girls

Aust and Dad came to Provo for a campus visit... I LOVED having them here!

This is my pretty friend Dani Deej.  If anyone can possibly convince her to go back to Peru with me, I will love you forever.

Doug?  Hm.  It seems as though he has completely shed the awkward RM persona.
Okay, fine.  He'll kill me if I don't clarify that there was a good 2 feet between the two of them.

Two of my babe roommates.

Dessert Parties.

Thanksgiving Break with the sibs.

Mel!

I have amazing friends.  How in the world did I get so lucky?

Dear Goals,

You're nice.  You give me something to work for.  I've taught a few lessons on you here and there.
I make a nice fatty list of you every single day, hour to hour.

This Thanksgiving break, my goals will not consist of anything academic.  They won't (although they should) consist of trying to drop my 10 lbs that I still have yet to lose.  They won't consist of me studying up on my Spanish.  In fact, they won't even consist of much of anything that would be considered productive.

HOWEVER, after contemplating long and hard about what I wanted to achieve this break, I could only come to one real logical conclusion.

so, here it is... (hey it's just a thought unless you write it down, right?)

My goal this Thanksgiving Break is to learn Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' dance from her music video.

Shallow?  Maybe.  Ridiculous?  Okay, fine.
Have I been a slave to school lately?  YES.
Thus, I will do whatever I darn well please this break.  And if I want to spend some time with Beyonce, I will do just that.

Cheers.

(p.s. I am blogging from the Denver airport.  Layovers are just spectacular, aren't they?  Thank you free wi-fi).

Dear Elder,

Eh hem... I mean, Sister!  (Elder sounded better...plus there's that amazing website that kept JD happy in the MTC with plenty of letters).   Yep!  My roommate Maeg left on her mission yesterday.  She's going to be such an amazing sister missionary... and I still get to see her on Monday's in the TRC for a couple weeks at least!  She will be serving in the Temple Square Mission and she will so great!

Those poor 19 year olds... Maeg is such a hottie!

p.s. check out Maeg's mission blog that Dani will be updating:

Dear Fall Ball,

As promised, the roommate photo shoot pictures are here!

Since Maeg left to go home before the MTC and Natalie moved in, we had to have some pictures with all of us so we had a nice little photo shoot a few Sunday's ago with Landon as our photographer.  Let's just say I really love my roommates/best friends.

happy fall, all.
